Metroid: Light Suit Samus Papercraft

This Light Suit which was given to Samus Aran by U-Mos blends both Luminoth and Chozo technology. It was solely created to counter the forces of darkness and it has proven to render Samus immune to darkness effects that would otherwise hinder her. The Light Suit contains the Light of Aether and lets Samus dive into Dark Aether's poisonous waters without danger, protects her from the Ingstorm, and permits her to ride on Light Shafts, which allow her to teleport between the four main temples.

Samus Light Suit Papercraft (Metroid Prime)

Samus Aran's Light Suit, a suit that provides 75% damage reduction and protects her against damage from Ingstorms and Dark Aether, papercraft created by Ignatius Reillius.

Will The Real Metroid Papercraft Please Stand Up?

I've been asked many times about the Samus Aran papercraft that we've posted before and often times they refer to her as Metroid. Hopefully, this post should clear things up a bit. Metroid refers to the gelatinous flying creatures first found on planet SR388 that closely resemble a jellyfish (pictured above), they are said to drain the lifeforce of anything they come in contact with. This Metroid papercraft was made by Charles Bradbury and Shinigami.

Here's a Samus Aran papercraft from the Metroid video game series. Samus is a bounty hunter armed with a cybernetic power suit with a number of advanced technologies built into it. She hunts aliens called the "Space Pirates" and energy-draining alien parasites called "Metroids", while attempting to complete missions given by the Galactic Federation.
