Yamaha Motors Japan has added their ultimate muscle bike, the VMAX, into their ultra-realistic papercraft section.

This Vmax papercraft papercraft bike is broken down into 5 sections (Engine, Frame, Steering, Exhaust Pipes, and Tires) with a combined page count of 47 for the parts and 56 pages for instructions.

Yamaha SR400 Papercraft Gas Tanks

Yamaha is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its long running and highly successful SR400/500 motorcycle series. They've released 53 custom gas tanks for their realistic Yamaha SR400 papercraft with designs dating back all the way to the original (1978).

Yamaha Papercraft - Summer Update - Goldfish

Today is the official start of summer and what a good way to survive the bloody heat but with Yamaha's Goldfish papercraft. The Goldfish on a water basin or vase is the second and most recent update to their Seasonal Scenes of Japan series, it represents one of Japan's most popular pets and the typical summer scene that offers a cool and refreshing feel to it. I'm not sure if Yamaha went with a different designer on this one but it feels like the pattern was made by somebody else or probably rushed. I mean its very good, but the way the cuts and folds are made doesn't feel like the previous works they've released, they could have deducted a few lines on the face and top of the body to make it look better.

Yamaha Papercraft - Spring Update

After a long period of inactivity, the Yamaha papercraft site has finally updated and put up a very beautiful spring-themed papercraft model. They've now added a new section as well, called "Seasonal Scene of Japan" where the new paper model is located. The papercraft shows a bush warbler (bird) on a Japanese plum blossom (tree), exactly what you would see this time of the year in Japan. Designed by Nobutaka Mokouyama.
