SD Hi-V Gundam Papercraft

A fantastic new papecraft from designer たーぼ, of the Turbolabo Blog. This Hi-v Gundam Papercraft sports the "SD" initials because of its trademark appearance. SD stands for Super Deformed, it's a common form of Japanese caricature in which characters are depicted as having small bodies shouldering large heads. The designer of this papercraft has been releasing the patterns one page per day and it seems that it's almost done. As of today there's five pages released including the Gundam's head, chest, waist, and two legs. To download this free papercraft, head on to the link below and click on the pictures (pattern), then save it. For my new readers, take a look at the pic below for some visual guide.

Chromehounds Papercraft - Chokipeta

These Chokipeta Chromehounds papercraft might be old but it still kicks ass. It came out a few months after I started this blog back in 2006, I knew about it then but for some reason I forgot do a post on it. It was based on a video game of the same name and for the Xbox 360 console and was first released in Japan on June 2006. These Chromehounds papercrafts include three mechs: Morskoj, Sal Kar, and Tarakia. Each mech represents a fictional nation that make up the Neroimus region (where the game takes place). This is classic ChokipetaKOBO work, clean lines, well planned out pattern, and great instructions. Free download is still available at the official Chromehounds Japan web site.

Rebellion Papercraft

A great looking mech/robot papercraft, I haven't seen this one posted anywhere so here you go.I found it on a Japanese blog called Reb.blog garage, the owner goes by the username Reb2479, so we'll call him that. His creation is called the "Rebellion" papercraft, from what I can understand on his blog entries and on the prototype pics, he's been building this model for quite some time now and just recently finished. The pattern for this papercraft counts in at 15 individual pages (JPG file), 10 for the pattern itself and 5 for instructions. It's a pretty darn good papercraft for a first try? let's all thank Mr. Reb2479

Votoms Scopedog Papercraft

I'm a big fan of the Webdude's work, specially the Hannah-Barbera's Wacky Races and the "Cars" paper models - he has released a new model on his Bots, Borgs, and Mechs section of his site. It's the Armored Trooper Votoms Scope Dog papercraft (ATM-09-ST), much like the one released by InnerBrain a few years back. It has over 40+ pages for the pattern and 20+ for the instructions, pretty straightforward and easy to follow, you'll have no problems building this one. Also, check out the "Others" section of the site to see another new paper model, "Chaina" (not pictured).
