Stingray Papercraft

Here's the Stingray papercraft based on a submersible warship from the 1960s scifi children's tv show of the same name. The Stingray is a highly sophisticated combat submarine used by the WASP (World Aquanaut Security Patrol).

Stingray was created by the renowned producer/director Gerry Anderson, the one who created Thunderbirds. Originally shown in 1964, it was the first British television series to be filmed in colour. This Stingray papercraft was designed by Gary Pilsworth.

Submarine Papercraft - Los Angeles Class



The Los Angeles class aka LA-class aka 688-class is considered to be the backbone in the United States submarine fleet. It's a nuclear-powered attack submarine (SSN) and the US Navy has more than 60 of them in its arsenal. This sub is 362 ft in length and has a displacement of over 6000 tons. One of the more prominent appearance of the LA-class submarine can be seen in the movie 'The Hunt For Red October'. This Los Angeles Class Attack Submarine papercraft is 1/144 in scale and is another impressive work from designer U-Don.

Latitude Zero: Black Shark Submarine Papercraft

Latitude Zero (緯度0大作戦, Ido zero daisakusen), is a 1969 tokusatsu film. It was directed by Ishiro Honda with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya. Three men (Dr. Ken Tashiro, Dr. Jules Masson, and Perry Lawton) are trapped in a bathysphere due to seismic activity. They are rescued by the crew of the supersubmarine, Alpha, captained by Craig Mackenzie (Cotten), which they learn is over 200 years old (and that the Alpha was launched in the early 1800s). Mackenzie takes them to Latitude Zero to deal with the serious injuries of Dr Masson. While returning to LZ, they are attacked by a rival supersubmarine, the Black Shark, captained by Kuroi, who works for a rival of Mackenzie, Malic, who is also over 200 years old and has a base at Blood Rock-wiki
