Sultan Ahmet Mosque (aka Blue Mosque) is considered as the national mosque of Turkey, one of the world's most beautiful Islamic mosques, and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Istanbul.
The Sultan Ahmet Mosque is located in the region of Marmara, Istanbul, Turkey. It was built during the early 1600s under the rule of Ahmed I and also one of several mosques that are called "Blue Mosque" - their interior walls are decorated with blue and white Iznik ceramic tiles. It is also the only mosque in the world that has 6 minarets - those would be the pointy towers you see on the pic.
