When Link first entered the Great Bay he found a dying Zora named Mikau who was fatally wounded by Gerudo warriors. When Link healed his soul, Mikau's body disappeared leaving the Zora Mask imbued with his spirit which allows him to transform into Zora Link.Legend of Zelda: Zora Link Papercraft
